The Sun has gone and come again, the third time since I wandered off and lost Mum. I didn't feel much like hissing today and I had a good run around outside my bedroom. I found some things that looked a bit like mice, only they weren't mice. But I prodded them a couple of times anyway. I discovered a great toilet area, down some steps and there are loads of little loose bits in trays to dig in and pee and poo.
I still got shut in my bedroom at night but at least I don't have to worry about anything grabbing me in the night it seems. I noticed that, when the sun had gone down, there were some other cats that came and went through the hole in the door, I reckon there are 6 of them and there are definitely 2 white ones as I saw them both together. Or maybe it was a trick of the light. They all still glower and hiss at me but the people are OK, I have stopped hissing at them now and did a little purr. I'm not missing Mum too much now, it's not bad here really. I think I will sleep well tonight.

Third day
The Sun has gone down and come up again. I still didn't sleep very well as I was a bit worried about where my Mum was. A couple of other cats peered at me in my bedroom, a small orange coloured one was particularly unfriendly - I hissed, it hissed AND growled. I don't think that was very fair. The fluffy white one seemed OK, he just looked at me and then wandered off and disappeared through a little hole in the door. I was let out for a while, so I did a bit of hissing and a bit of arching my back at another white cat ... I think it's a different one to the one that looked at me earlier, they all look the same to me.
The people held me again and I still hissed a bit, but actually, it's quite soothing. One of the people had nice soft fur and I was so tired that I went to sleep on it for a while. It's very strange how they can take their fur off.
I discovered a nice hole to hide in, a long tube, just the right size for me. Unfortunately, one of the people started to poke at me so I had to come back out and was put back in my bedroom. Still, I have everything I need there - stuff to eat, an en-suite toilet and nice bed. Mum would have loved it if she had been here.

Getting established
The Sun has gone down and come up again. I didn't sleep very well as I miss my Mum. At least I had some food and somewhere to pee and poo in my bedroom. At least I think it's a bedroom. I can see out of it, all the way round, but I bump my head on some silvery stuff when I try to get out. There is some soft stuff for me to lie on which is nice. So I will just sit here, put on a brave face and hiss at anyone who tries to touch me.
... &&& ...
Things got better as the day wore on - during the evening, the people let me out of my bedroom and they insisted on holding me. I was still a bit frightened and hissed a bit more but I must admit that it was actually quite a nice feeling. I wondered if they had any milk, like the stuff I got from my Mum, but even though I licked and chewed at one of them I couldn't find any. Still, the squidgy brown stuff they put down for me hits the spot. it smells a bit like poo but tastes loads better. I wish I knew where my Mum was.

A new beginning
It all started during the morning of the 10th December 2012. I can't remember exactly what happened but I got into a bit of a flap. I found myself stuck at the side of something called a road trying to climb a big pile of cold white stuff to get out of the way of big noisy things going past me. All I could do was to jump up and down and run in circles to try to get out of the way.
One of these stopped and a funny looking cat walking only on two legs got out and grabbed me by the scruff of my neck. It placed me inside one of the big noisy things and we moved along for a short while.
I wasn't really that brave and hid. A few minutes later, I was chased around inside the big noisy thing, and eventually, I gave up and allowed myself to be put in a container. It actually wasn't too bad as it had a nice soft bed. I got carried around the village for what seemed ages whilst the big 2-legged cats communicated with others. I know now that they were trying to find my mum but didn't succeed. A pity, I quite liked my Mum even though I hadn't known her for long. And I also have found out that they are not cats at all, they are called people. Anyway, they took me into a barn which was warmer than where I lived before. They put me, still inside the purple container into put into a bigger box and, although I was still quite frightened, I felt obliged to show them how big and brave I was but doing lots of hissing when they looked at me. To make myself seem really big I stood on top of the purple box to his.
Really, all I wanted to do was to cover my eyes with my paws and cry. I really did like my Mum and was missing her. Things started to look up a bit as they gave me some nice stuff to eat and when it went dark in the warm barn, I was able to get some sleep without worrying.
